R.A.I.L Reverse Action Inline Esagnolettes

R.A.I.L. – for when BS7950 security windows are required without the need to fit a shootbolt espagnolette. The reverse action operation pulls the cams together, clamping them into both sides of the striker plate for strength and security.

The design of the R.A.I.L espagnolette makes it ideal for use on commercial applications, new build installations and public sector housing. R.A.I.L uses the existing range of MACO striker plates and is suitable for all types of eurogrooved profiles making it ideal for use not only on PVCU profile systems but also Timber and Aluminium.

Twin adjustable end mushroom bolts are fitted on all sizes from 400 mm and above.

Open postition

• When the window is in the open position the R.A.I.L. mushroom bolts are positioned on either side of a standard MACO mushroom striker plate.
• The distance between the mushroom bolts is the same as our MACH II Shootbolt System thus ensuring a smooth and trouble free operation.

Closed position

• When the window is in the closed / locked position the R.A.I.L. mushroom bolts enter both sides of the striker plate.
• This locking action that was developed by MACO on the MACH II Shootbolt System ensures that when the window is forced one of the mushroom bolts engages further into the striker plate.

The R.A.I.L. lockcase features twin central adjustable mushroom bolts on the 200, 800, 1000 & 1200 mm long sizes.
