The market is witnessing an increase use of coloured finished for bespoke projects. It is quite simply the case that more and more architects and specifiers are waking up to the fact that coloured can be achieved in PVC-U. Previously, it has generally been perceived that ‘PVC-U equals white’.

Glass Tec Windows vast experience and expertise with colours means you can personalise you windows by choosing from the wide range of colours and from three exclusive finishing techniques: the high-quality coating Decoroc, foiling with a wood grain texture and the colouring of the PVC itself at granular level.

Thanks to the many colour option which Glass Tec Windows can offer, you can decide for yourself the appearance of your windows, doors, windows boards, roofline, and external and internal cladding. Profile can be finished in any way the customer wishes. Glass Tec Windows makes use of a number of different techniques to apply the full range of colours to the profiles.

uPVC Foiling

The Glass Tec Windows Profiles can also be clad in a UV-resistant acrylic film. This range offers you the opportunity to give your windows and doors a natural wooden appearance without having to re-paint it every year.

Decoroc

Decoroc is a Glass Tec Windows panted process for the application of a durable colour coating to PVC-U profiles which are used to fabricate coloured constructions such as windows, doors, fascias and other building products. The process gives the colours a good resistance to scratching and chemical abrasion prevents permanent adhesion of graffiti and cement veils, yet retains the innate suppleness and flexibility of the PVC-U profile. The impact resistance finish is achieved by drying the coated profile in a 50C oven eight hours.

A key advantage of Decoroc is that it is applied to the profile prior to delivery to the windows manufacturer. The manufacturer can then produce colored windows and door products from scratch, rather than sending the finished product away for colour coating. This reduces the risk of affecting the final quality though over-handling the product and attributing damage liability. Deuctone process colours are more than a range of beautiful colours. They also represent a technology, an industrial process, and an expertise that guarantee a high-quality finish and unrivalled durability.

Each colour from the collection has undergone a number of quality tests and has been awarded the necessary technical approvals – so you can always rely on its performance. We’ve paid particular attention to UV resistance. This means that, even after several years, your colours will be as fresh as when they were first applied.
