Pilkington offers thermal double glazing

 

Pilkington Energikare glazing has reduced heat loss and improved the thermal performance of council property windows.

A London refurbishment project features Pilkington Energikare Legacy double glazing to replace single glazing, with a gap of 0.2mm between panes, and a total thickness of 6mm.

Energikare draws solar energy  through the window reflecting it back into the room with a low emissivity inner pane.

Energikare has a good rating under the Value Carbon assessment measuring carbon saved against money spent.

Heat loss reduction achieved by the insulating glass unit can be demonstrated with the use of thermal imaging.
